Edward J. Tippel III (E.J.) was born and raised in New York City. At the age of 13, E.J found his life's career while working at a catering business. E.J. attended The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York and graduated in 1990
E.J. has worked at a variety of properties including Mountain Manor Resort, Durows of New York, and SkyTop Lodge in Pennsylvania before relocating to Washington State. He was hired at Skamania Lodge in 1997, promoted to Executive Sous Chef in June of 2006, and became the Executive Chef in March of 2009.
